Apparently Nas's dad, Olu Dara, whom he collaborated with on the single "Bridging the Gap" off of Street's Disciple, is friends with Gil Scott-Heron. Pretty sure this song is perfect for some sort of HBO TV series. Let's say Treme meets How to Make It in America.
